Thinking about getting my 2001 vRS decatted and then doing a remap since I'm not planing on any other mods really.. (Or should I?)

Is it a bad idea to remap my car it has 82k miles on it?

Any other thought about me upgrading my car are greatly appreciated!

I just have the standard system..

Not looking for some heavy noise, just a little and some power boost :p

I've gone down the same route, jetex full system with a de at pipe, stage 1 remap with a panel filter and updated diverter valve ( ebay special). Been flawless since and is more than quick enough.

read somewhere that the turbo will be on it's way out past ~150k km (~100k miles)

Well my car is on 148k so by that reasoning my car hasn't had a turbo for 48k

Might be a custom stage one? If so that would be bloody good figures!

It was a custom map jabba sport, they list on there website as stage1 generic map and stage 2 custom map.

I can't see why Michael at Jabba sport wouldn't of set the car up for best performance with current mods
