Advice with a Map please

Featured Replies

As title says I needs some advice please, my vrs has a jabba sport remap and a forge re circ, I am about to have fitted a full exhaust and de cat. Would my map be ok or go I need to get checked/re done??

Also what is needed for a stage 2 map?

It will be ok, a custom map would make better use of the zorst though

Stage 2:

Full exhaust

CAI

FMIC

plus the bits from stage 1.

Since you have the exhaust it might be worth doing. I have seen people go to stage 2 with just a SMIC on a hybrid. Said it was pushing 240, could get 260 with the FMIC.

he had it done a Jabba aswell.

Thanks for your help buddy, also what should mine be boosting ? As the gauge says it's holding just about a bar of boost? Is this about right ?

a bar boost is perfect

what you need for stage 2 is exhaust fmic and a decent cai but no totally needed

should see you a good 240 bhp

but with that car i would save the penny and buy the graphics kit as the wrc was meant to have them and that really what made it a special edition!!! as it stands now it looks like an old bill car with 2 silly green lines painted on it lol

The sticker kit was a grand last time I looked (2 years ago)! Better get saving!

spk to skoda uk for a price and ask if you can put skoda uk sticker on car and you will save £££'s

all about asking the right people

A grand for the sticker kit ?? Wow I only bought the car because it had the most comprehensive service history, plus it had the rights mods on it. Jabba remap, panel filter, forge re circ, koni shocks with H-R springs. Plus all suspension bushes replaced and uprated. Rarb done. I had little or no knowledge about the wrc edition it was just the right car at the right money lol

if i was you bud id look at getting the car back to how it looked when it left the factory (graphics etc)

youve already got stage 1 and imo you dont gain THAT much with a stage 2 considering how much you will have to pay out to get it there!

your car will get much much more attention fully stickered up than it would running a S2 map B)

as stated earlier as it stands now it just looks like a rozzers car with a dodgy green stripe added to it ;)

It may look like an ex police car with green stripes on it. But at least I can say it's number 71/100 which is more than 99.9% of people on here can say. I far as I am aware there are only 23 rhd wrc editions left so I am 1 of them are you ??? Stickers or not :-)

it wasnt a dig mate..............far from it!! just think you should use your money to bring it back to its former glory

Point taken buddy, I didn't buy it because I was a wrc edition, like I said earlier it was the nicest vrs I had looked at out of 7 i went to view. Sticker kit is a maybe 1 day. I feel it needs more power though. I would like around 240ish. Buy im in no rush
