Featured Replies

 Hello all, newbie here thinking of taking the plunge into octavia vrs ownership! ive spotted a nice silver 04 with 80k full service history, two previous owners.immaculate in and out! B) anyway ive managed to knock the garage down from £2999 to £2300!!!! so im literally going now to test drive it!! i really like the look of these cars, tuneability etc etc :D ive read the very helpful buying guide on here.and read a load of reviews and cannot find a bad one!!! so fingers crossed it will be on my drive by 6pm! the only thing thats spoiling it is the constant p :moon: ss taking by my friends saying im 38 not 58,old mans car and the usual skoda related jokes    and how can you go from a beemer to a skoda!i like the skodas, and the more the take the urine the more i want one.why drive round in a boring vectra or mondeo??? anyway just a quick introduction!!! fingers crossed i will in the vrs club soon...............

will update if i have bought it later :p

Sounds ridiculously cheap I bought an 04 plate a year ago with 56k on the clock.I had a BMW 320ise prior to this and the VRS outperforms it in all respects. The ones that are laughing are probably buying overpriced french or italian cars. anyone who knows cars will not take the mickey. Check the cambelt and water pump has been changed and have it stage 1 mapped by Shark and watch them disappear in your rear view mirror.

I'm 38 and have a Fabis vRS.

Critics are quickly silenced once they've been for a ride ;)

Enjoy the Octy and welcome.

:rofl::rofl: many thanks for the warm welcome! ive just arrived back from the garage! and.......................

IVE bought it!!! was totally blown away with the performance and handling etc(and thats coming from a bmw 5 series!!!)

APPARENTLY ITS BEEN REMAPPED!!??the turbo is adddictive B)

and the price is the best part......£2150! honestly :giggle:

i have bought it as a trade sale.it has a couple of car park dings but very very nice example, ive hpi checked it all fine, needs some work to brakes on its original discs at 80k,and needs a good service so managed to get it for a steal.amazing what flashing the cash does.so im about to order a full cambelt kit in and waterpump.full service kit and 4 x new discs and pads(may go upgraded) so a good £3/400 to spend but will be worth it!!looking foward to the ownership of this car.and hope to pick up some good tips and advice on here.:thumbup:
