New Mk1 Fab VRS owner

Just wanted to say Hi.

I am new to the forum and new to the Marque, thus far I am very impressed with both!

I have owned a string of hot hatches/performance saloons as second cars alongside a diesel company car.

Having recently changed jobs I lost my company car, sold the weekend car and bought the fabia to replace both!

I only really considered this and an Ibiza FR TDI, I felt more at home and preferred the styling of the Fab so it won the day!

Having come from a weekend car with pretty much double the bhp of the Fab, but less Torque, I would have to say the Fab does not feel too far off the pace terms of real world (in gear performance).

I have been browsing the FAQ's and searching for anything I couldn't find, you guys have put together a wealth of information here excellent forum, so a big thanks to all those responsible.
