Multiple exposure mode

Featured Replies

I have never really played with this settign on my camera but a recent post by a friend in the USA prompted me to try it out. I'm quite pleased with the results.

Nice timing to get the blades so symmetrically spread. Did you take several pictures to get the spread right or did lady luck help out?

It's one exposure but there is a multi exposure setting so it records up to 10 shots and records them in one frame - if that makes sense. SO select multi exposure and put it on continuous slow advance. Pick a reasonable shutter and aperture setting and bob's your uncle.

Not tried it before but I can see it would work well with say a car passing by. Hmmm, a nice Skoda shot perhaps?

If the turbines have 3 blades then your camera would have to take exactly 3 shots in the time it takes to make one revolution to get the even shots of your later images. the first one isn't 100% evenly spaced, so I figured you had adjusted your speed to get it so even.

Hmm I'm not good enough with the maths to figure this out but flat out it can shoot 8 frames per second. And yes they were three bladed turbines. Oh my head hurts just thinking about the calculations :giggle:
