My turbo died chucking bits into the intercooler, i've ordered a new turbo (PD150:) and am going to order a new intercooler, im after a side mount and was wondering if you guys had used non OE ones like velo ect, a new one from Skoda is just over £300, My local motor factors and e-bay sell non gen ones for round £200.

Has anyone used a non gen side mount and are there any other options? i dont want a front mount as Swift cover wont insure me if i have one.

Theres an uprated side mount listed for a 1.8t on ebay that can fit the pd130

will it line up and use the clippy things, i was wanting one that wont need any/much fabrication.

No i dont think so

Theres a bit of faffing around i believe, just thought it may be a good idea considering you were going the pd150 route
