Bolero - aux in

Featured Replies

I have a bolero in my Octavia, it was replaced a couple of weeks ago under warranty as the old one used to randomly reboot, but this one I can't get the aux in to work followed the instructions in the manual but it won't highlight so it makes me wonder if they didn't plug that back in, anything else to think of before a trip back to the dealer at all??

Thanks in advance.

Do you know if any coding was done, when the new one went in? Just wondering if it's a case of the new Bolero not knowing that the AUX IN is available...

The AUX IN cabling is part of the Quadlock that fits into the back of the HU, so I personally would think it more likely that it's a coding issue. Could be either though, to be honest!

Thanks for that, I have no idea if any coding was done, I presume it was probably coded to the car so the car thinks its the original unit? So maybe the AUX needs coding seperately? Will pop in and see them.

There's a check box in the Bolero Settings "page" for AUX...is that checked?

If it isn't there in the setup > media menu to enable you need to go back to the dealer and get them to enable it, or get someone to enable it with VCDS.
