I have a Nokia 6310i which has an intermittent charging problem with the CarK91 carkit which is in my wife's car.

My wife's 7110 charges fin in the car kit, but 90% of the time if i put my 6310 in it, the 6310 beeps and displays "Not charging". However, if I put the phone in very carefully, sometimes i can get it to charge. (It seems more likely to work if I start with the phone nearly horizontal and then rise to the vertical, but nothing in terms of getting it to work seems repeatable.) The 6310 charges fine in the car kit in my car.

I'm guessing it's a pin or something in the cradle, but there's no obvious differences between the two car kits.

Anybody got any ideas?

I had the same thing happen with my CarK91.

It got gradually more and more fussy about what it would charge and despite me testign everything with a multimeter I couldn't trace the problem , so I left it in the Ka when I traded it in
