just wondering if any octavia vrs drivers have removed the number plate plinth / cut away, and could guide me through the steps or if it's simple just say lol

So basically, shall I just get an air saw or jigsaw and cut the plinth out?

Hi and welcome aboard.

Well when I did mine I took the bumper off to plan what and where to cut, I used a dremel with a small cutting disc, I also had a hacksaw to help in the corners, oh and a small sanding attachment to just to clean the edges up.

Cool than that's probably the route i'll take as well but before I do I will just make sure I get a decent mesh to fit first, don't want any stones flicking through!
