I have searched the forum, but cant find anything on this: Is the DSG gearbox in the V6 the same as the DSG in the 140 and 170 diesels?

I have heard some bad reviews of the V6 'box, but if its the same 'box as in the diesels, i'm not bothered

Well it will definately have a different code as the v6 is 4wd, the 170 is 2wd and the 140 can be either. Then there's differences in ratios between the v6 and the diesel. Not sure if the 170 and the 2wd 140 have the same ratios though. Chances are the ecu programmes will be different too to allow for the different shift points, etc.
