right guys i have now got another problem! i sorted the knock that i had on the front drivers side .It was the wheel bearing!! had that fix today everything fine!!! or at least thats what i thought

my wife has been to town today everything ok came back everything still ok! now here is my problem!!

ive gone to put the car in the garage and struggled to get the car into reverse when it did go into reverse it jerked a tiny bit??? it also seems a bit stiffer to get in first gear and really struggles to go in fith?. however when the engine is stopped it goes into every gear very easily!!

is it something the mechanic could have done to cause this?

has anyone had this problem? and more importantly did you manage to find out what it is??

check the gearchange linkage the mechanic might have disturbed the hoses and one of them gets in the way.
