Brake Pads - Pagid Part No. Req

Featured Replies

Hi folks, sorry to ask this as I have no doubt that this has been asked many times before. I'm looking at replacing the front and rear pads on my octy, am I correct in saying that the OEM pads are Pagid ? I've been looking on Europarts but they list two different front pads and three different rear pads for my car. I used the online assistant and the Europart chap asked me the size of my brake discs (rather personal !! :)). Can anyone advise which Pagid pads I need without finding out my disc sizes at all ?

OEM pads are probably TRW and are £30 a set.

Thanks Grizzle, would that be from the stealers ?

if you drop me your reg in a PM, i'll check with the VW system, to see if we can narrow down the correct pads

Thanks for the info guys, EuroCarParts, I've PM'd my reg to you

If I was changing my pads I would be upgrading to some that were better performing as opposed to refitting the same ones.

Hi Jonno, I can appreciate what your saying, but for me, I find the standard setup fine. I've got the wind back tool, just need the pads now :)

Hi Euro, many thanks for your update. Sorry to be a pain but when clicking on the links for the pads, the webpage asks me to input my car details, when completed it says that these parts will not fit my car ?

We have an anoying glitch on the site, which is caused when following a link to the website rather than using the parts lookup.

They have been checked on the VW system

Hi Euro, thats great many thanks, so if I order via the website how do I apply the discount ?

In the checkout there is an area to ENTER PROMOTIONAL code (before you select delivery or Click & Collect) - you enter it there, and Robert's your fathers brother.
