Been havin problems with my knock sensor. Engine been pinking under hard load so changed sensor for a patent part. No luck and still had problems. Managed to take it back and bought a bosch one. Still no luck. Turns out after removing AGAIN and inspecting plug/wire that both blue and grey cable have been pulled out of plug.

My question is what way round do I attempt to require plug.

One side is marked 1 the other 2. And have a white an blue cable. Many thanks in advance for any assistance.
