For sale I have my wife's BlackBerry Curve 8520 phone, in black with accessories.

The phone has been unlocked, and is now compatible with any network.

Unfortunately we can't find the box, but it will be well packed and protected for postage.

The phone is fully operational, with no faults or damage. Screen is great, buttons are all as new. The back cover has some very light scuffing, from general use and being placed on a table. It's been a great little reliable phone.

I did the same but wasn't sure how many bands there are in total, I take it quad band covers pretty much all frequencies around the world?

Not sure if it's quad band to be honest, but I'll confirm. It's worked fine in Russia, Finland, Austria, Italy, Spain etc. I'll do some research and get back to you.

OK so I can confirm that it is quad-band.

GSM 850/900/1800/1900

Which covers Europe, Asia, Australia, Brazil, North America, Africa, Middle East etc.

The UAE uses GSM 900 and GSM 1800. So this phone will definitely work in the UAE.

I'm afraid the 8520 doesn't do 3G data. It uses GPRS and EDGE (2.5G) instead.

It does however have WiFi and Bluetooth.
