2011 Octavia vRS ABT Tune

Featured Replies

Hi all. It's been a while as I sold my MK1 vRS to buy a Suzuki Hayabusa due to Cardiff City traffic. Anyway, I'm now living in Dubai and have been since 2009 and am about to buy my first car here, having had company cars until now. I'm 99% going for the latest Octavia vRS (17k fully loaded out here) and fancy the ABT tune to go with it. Does anyone have any experience with this tune? I have to go with ABT to comply with warranty out here. I've no doubt there are better and worse tunes to be had but it's my only choice. Does anyone on here have this actual tune on their 2011 vRS? Cheers in advance guys :)

Is ABT officially approved by Skoda?

Out here it certainly is. Every business out here has to have an Arab sponsor. Ali & Sons is the sponsor / importer for Skoda. Funnily enough, Ali & Sons also are the ABT agent here. Funny that, eh!?......

ABT are the official VAG tuning partner across most of Europe. You can have the vehicle tuned from new, and get the full warranty, or tuned as a used car and keep the balance of the standard warranty or buy additional warranty from the dealer. I have no idea why they don't do it in the UK.
