N75

Featured Replies

Hi all, in the never ending journey to finding the source of my octys problem I've been advised to look into replacing the n75 valve. I see there are 3 types n75. N75h and n75j. Can anyone please tell me what the differences are and which one do I need if I need one at all many thanks.

they do go mate,

depending on maps really as to whether you go for the H or J, personally I wouoldnt as when I put one on it felt NAF! jerky and harsh.

the J is from old audis and basically slows down the signal to the ecu so in effect makes it overboost slightly iirc. hence the jerky ness

Personally I would just get another std valve. they are not cheap tho, to be sure I would get new but again not cheap and I am very finiky.

I have a spare in my boot lol just in case, its my original one. never had any faults and was no different when I put the new one on neither so I take it its A1 so now just keep it as a spare.

A new one isn't much more than that. Pretty sure the current standard one is a N75F which replaced the original N75C.
