swapping inlet manifold from fabia vrs to passat

hi guys im having some trouble, ive fitted a universal fmic to my fabia vrs and due to the amount of pipe work i decided to fit a passat inlet manifold, i started this morning and found the egr valve needs the internals swapping over or does a passt one fit ?? if any1 has done this the help would be really helpfull as this is stressing me out :@
