Quick question, does it play copied cd's? I want to copy all my cd's and use them for the car. Will the head unit play them? Also will it play mp3 cd's?

The changer that came with my Octy played CDRs , but none of them did MP3

So if I copied an album 1:1 it would work, but if I put a selection of songs on a cd it won't play them?

As long as they were in the same format you can write your own CD of tracks like this. After all, its effectively an album anyway. Just copy the tracks you want to your PC in wav format or whatever they come as, then add them one by one as you build your custom CD-R.

Great thanks! So if I use Nero it doesn't matter if they're mp3 or wav format aslong as it's on CD-R? i.e. not CD-RW?
