Yeah it's nice a smooth, only done about 10 miles on it so far though, pedal much ligther so good for me in the traffic, biting point lower as well.

Got the FW and bolts from Jaime, the clutch kit was from Euro parts as he couldn't give a date for the VW part.

But he rang Euro and got me a dirt cheap price, he is a darling like that mind :yes:

Mine only started slipping Saturday morning, but yo know me, I can't hang around waiting for failure.

The CLutch kit I used was Valeo, which I wasn't too happy about but my new fitter friend reckons he had more trouble with LUK stuff than these so I went with his advice.

If you need any fitting done let me know as he's good and cheap, which is always a bonus

I gave it 250 it felt fine so I gave it full torque and have done ever since.

Having driven nearly a week on it now (350 miles)

I have come the conclusion that they should have left the factory like this

And that my DMF was on its way out anyway or it may be a trait but in third I no longer get what I thought was a tiny blip, this gone with the SMF setup.
