Hi all, we recently bought a used 2010 Octavia that has been imported to Norway from the Netherlands and is equipped with the "Columbus" entertainment system. When we got it there was no sound from the rear of the car and there isn't an option to set the fade of the speakers - the option appears for an instant and the disappears just as quickly. I figured that the previous owner had removed the rear door speakers for some reason so removed the door card to see what was what.

What I found was a complete lack of speakers and not even any wiring to connect to... how can a car with so much equipment as standard not have rear speakers ?

Right, my question is: does anyone know the part numbers for the wiring looms required to fit some door speakers ? and will these need to be "coded" to enable them ?

I don't know the netherlands options but would guess that the columbus had been fitted afterwards? Hell of a disappointment!
