Hello all. HHEELLP! I have also had the P2100/P2102 ASV fault on my 2006 octavia TDI. I have replaced the ASV with the new M level part as described above, genuine part from Pierburg but the light comes on. The engine deos shudder when swiched off and I cant see the valve is operating (assuming it shuts on shut off to prevent air supply and stop shudder).

I have feed at fuse F8 as above but no feed at the valve plug on any wire. Is there anything else common? is there a sensor that controls it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked any other fuses?

If the OE valve seized it normally blows the cooling fan fuse which is 5 or 6 I though in the ebox.

Any other fault codes?

All fuses checked, engine fuse box and in vehicle. Just get codes 2100 and 2102 both related the ASV. Thinking sensor that switches it or wiring? Any ideas?

Broken wires between v157 & the ebox, try by the gearbox or air box as these wires chafe through.

Oops Sorry v157 is the flap that shuts when the engine is turned off the pierburg part you replaced. The ebox is the fusebox in the engine compartment. By the battery.
