Quick question for you all.

Is it possible to do this.

Connect my phone to the car via bluetooth and also connect my TomTom by bluetooth so that i get sat nav instructions and phone hands free via the radio?

Never tried but probably not, most Bluetooth devices will only handle one source at a time.

The car kit will only deal with one source at a time.

Many smartphones will connect with more than one device though. My old win mobile mad would connect to the car and also to my gps module at the same time so I could talk on the phone and still have directions on screen.

The TomTom wont let you do that either.

The only way to get TomTom instructions is to use 3.5mm jack into the aux socket.

Get a smartphone with sat-nav built in. Android 'phones come with Google Maps Navigation -works for me.
