Blackberry Torch & Storm

Featured Replies

Help please, am at the end of my teather...and am at the process of throwing my blackberry torch out of the window.....my problem is:-

I have successfully paired my Storm (9500) to SKODA_rSAP, and it worked perfectly.....

When I got to pairing my new Torch (9800), it was not smooth sailing....it would pair up successfully, recognise new SIM card, etc....but then when it showed the screen (inbetween the speedo and rev counter) the signal bars, name of the phone, and Network Operator....it would continually 'initialise' the phone and do nothing else....

So after comparing the settings between the Storm and Torch, which were identical, and deleting the Torch profile and starting all over again, it would do the same thing...

Any ideas as I have run out of options.......

I have

1. compared settings between the phones,

2. deleted the profiles and re-pairing,

3. removing the battery to do a reset,

4. reverting back to the factory settings,

5. tried to pair up again....

still to no avail......

Please help, all appreciated....
