Gentlemen, your thoughts and comments would be much appreciated. I have an 06 Superb, 140 bhp 2.0 diesel with high mileage. I love the thing - still. Uno problem though - it keeps cutting to safe/limp mode and flashing up emissions. Stop it, start it, and although the warning lights flash, away she goes. Eventually the lights will clear themselves. It cuts under heavy load and when cruising. Tested turbo - all OK. Topped up the fluid resevoir under boot. Changed turbo boost swith. All to no avail, still cuts. Electrical? Bad earth? ECU? I'd really appreciate an informed guess about what to try next. Cheers.

Just do a search for VCDS, find your nearest and ask them to hook it up and see what codes it's throwing up. Shouldn't cost you more than a beer token or two if that and that way you don't need to guess you can go straight to the root of the issue (hopefully)

Sticky turbo veins (sticking full on would be my guess & yes i know you've checked it!) Next guess would be dirty EGR valve.
