Got a Skoda keyring and metal valve caps with the Skoda logo on from a granddaughter, she wants to see them in place when I next visit, (I'm still waiting for the car), I wondered if anyone else had these and is there an issue about them becoming stuck to the tyre stem?

My lad bought me a tee-shirt from fleebay with the slogan;

I :love: my Yeti

:giggle:

There are many general reports of this happening. I would try coating them in silicone grease and keep trying them.

I would think there is more chance of some little swine nicking them I am sorry to say.

Wot.!..."Skoda" valve caps.:D

I've got metal "Vespa" caps on my scoot, and even with copper grease smeared round the threads they do tend to stick on if I've not ridden for a while, so not had occasion to check the tyre pressures. For this reason I bought the plastic version for the car and so far they've been fine.

On a car you'd be checking tyre pressures more regularly (or should ;)) so with the threads greased you should be OK. Most of the logo caps have hex heads so can be loosened off if the worst comes to the worst.

Never had a problem with theft. Probably not worth the effort as they're readily available on eBay for a few quid.
