Hello Guys,

I have a 2002 Octavia L&K 1.8T with the OEM standard suspension. My Front Struts/Shoks are gone and need to replace them.

I was checking these 2:

KYB 334812 EXCEL-G GR-2

and

BILSTEIN VNE-4574-BG OE Standard Suspension

Both are almost the same brand but I want to know what brand you advise me to get. I going to use them with my factory coil springs.

I read only good reviews for KYB ExcelG,and will be my choice with no doubt

We have Bilstein factory here in Romania,good prices,but noone is interested,poor quality.

Sachs are also weak many complain after 10-15k mile they become softer

Dad fits lots of KYB OEM spec dampers to loads of cars, never had a problem
