Evening all!

now owned my VRs for over 7months and im still not bored (which is unusual for me as im 27 and ive had over 45cars!) and now its time for a bit more power.

i work for Audi and ive managed to secure a set of Audi S3 injectors and a Borgwarner K04 turbo set up.

i know a few on her have done it so i was just curious as to what most would think is needed.

im assuming a high pressure fuel pump, sports cat or decat, full system and an FMIC would be best for the remap but any other parts needed or advised?

I've just got all the bits to do this. You'll need a dv relocation kit and a k04 turbo discharge pipe but other than what you've mentioned and another remap you're nearly there.

Depending on what state of tune you want to take it to you may not need the hpfp or the cat back system.

And you need to make a wiring extension so the DV connector will reach its new location near the throttle Body.

Slightly off topic but i was just wondering what year is it and did you buy it local,as i traded my one in to a garage in inverness and was wondering if it is my old one ,probably not.Mine was a 2006 on a 55 plate in black .

As mentioned above by Martin really. I did it in 2009 and it's been great. Save for an LSD aswell so you can get the power down. IMO, my diff was a better mod than the k04. I want to go GT3076R in the future...

Fikes i did buy it in town from Donnie at Culloden Car Sales but mine is race blue, i did however bump into a Black VRs on christmas eve as he was taking pics of his car next to mine (due to his plate being STU and mine being S7**UBO) he said he bought that in town and it was a 55reg originally!

Oh well, the reason i asked was that i have some bits that i had fitted to it and it still has a pipewerx down pipe on it as i didn't have time to remove it,so left with standard down pipe and intake for it,spotted my old car in the business and retail park with the 55 plate still on it about four days ago so just thought it might have been yours,anyway enjoy the car mate and happy tuning.

Just remember the U.S models have what's called a noise pipe for the DV relocation kit which is different to European models I believe. The first picture in the thread has everything needed but you can swap 06f 145 536 c with the one thats on your k03. Depending on the type of intercooler you're using you'll need to change the pipe which connects the discharge pipe to the intercooler.
