Cold start problems on my Octavia 06 plate

Hi Everyone just signed up. My 06 plate octavia classic 1.9 tdi developed this starting problem about 6 months ago. it has got worse since the weather got colder. i have had it on to different diagnostic machines and nothing has showen up on any. i have changed the fuel filter, temp sensor to no avail. oh and the battery as well!! Once running the car is fine but left over-night it won't start. has anyone got any suggestions thanks.
