Hi My Octy 1.9 TDI WITH DSG box 2007 passed MOT 60 miles back. Total miles 76K. In last 2 days DSG gears have stuck in 3rd or 2nd intermittently but drives ok in "manual". This afternoon both ABS and ESP lights have come on on dash and gearbox is driving ok in auto immediately after lights came on. Please note ABS Pressure sensor and ABS Unit replaced 5k miles ago(usual fault).

Does anyone out there with greater knowledge than me have any ideas, could the ECU have been fried during the MOT?

You need to get it scanned with VCDS. There's no hope of finding out what it is otherwise.
