hello folks . has any one out there in skoda land had transmech clutchs or heard of them or been let down by one or made up to have it. please help ime at my wits end and dont know where to turn to next

I had a transmech clutch on my saxo.. The clutch release bearing gave up after 2 weeks and was rattling like a beeatch.

That's my only experience.

I'd sooner spend the extra £'s and get a valeo etc etc.. more established unit

When did it rattle? All the time or as you changed gear or just on take off?

quick update . got a valeo smf £220 . so its getting fitted on thursday for £100 so more slip is it a decent clutch
