Nextbase Click7 Duo DVD player

Featured Replies

Hi

After reading many reviews re which in car DVD player to purchase I settled on the aforementioned. Question is:-

Has anyone had experience with these in an Octavia - the headrest locking system sounds great but my fear is, because the top and rear of the headrest faces foreward slightly, the actual DVD screens will thus face upward slightly when in place on the mountings.

So.......the kids will winge they can't see their screens properly or brake their necks to see the screens.

Are the fittings adjustable enough to compensate for this?

Thanks in advance

Oh, and wireless or wired headphones?

I presume you have purchased the headrest mounting kit to go with them?

There is angled movement to tilt the screens along a vertical plane, together with slight movement inwards and outwards towards the child.

I had them in my Octy and now in my Superb.

Ditto - you need the stanchion mount which fits it properly to the headrest poles. Works a treat.

I also have the wireless headphones to go with it which work great. For the price these are excellent.

Nextbase Click & Go Stanchion Mount. £39.

Nextbase 7 inch portable DVD. £99.

Nextbase wireless headphones. £21.

Quiet, happy children: Priceless.

Ditto all of the above, although didn't opt for the headphones - can't trust the two of them not to turn the volume up full and be stone deaf by journey's end.
