My Mk1 Fabia has developed a squeak coming from the front left wheel, it is especially prominent while turning left, or traveling at speeds anywhere up to about 40-50mph

anyone have any ideas what could be causing it?

Discs or pads by the sounds of it mate.

Had your brakes done recently?

not sure, but a freind insures me that the pads have been serviced, but it does it most when im slowing down/coasting without actually breaking.
