Mapping on 10plate onwards

I heard a rumour (or maybe the truth) off a friend that goes on the seat forums, that the tsi engine 10plate onwards will say chip tuned car when plugged into a diagnostics at dealerships. Anyone heard of this and if it's true?

I know the flash counter will have changed so they will be able to tell if the ECU has been flashed

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.
