I was royaly shafted won't be going to dealers ever again !

I've had enough I have made a official complaint to SUK for the cost of my service emoticon-0104-surprised.gif

I paid £76 for my first service on my diesel Fab Estate TDI at the main Skoda dealer. Not really much in it for servicing between diesel or petrol if you check, until cambelt when it costs a tad more. Even then it doesn't wipe out the huge savings of having a diesel even on low miles.

Well contacted other national dealers, and I've been shafted, £105 /£116 not £206 so I'm going to see dealers tomorrow and suk involved , so this must be a scam emoticon-0149-no.gif

sounds more like a relevant price, let us know how you get on, ask the dealer that charged you £200 + to justify it.

Sorry I've hijacked thread emoticon-0112-wondering.gif I will post on original thread emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Some folks have paid less, but don't quote me as everything I say is held against me emoticon-0105-wink.gif

My first service booked for 4th feb. I'll have about 3600 on the clock when it goes in. General quotes were £130 from most dealers. My supplying dealer which is not a local dealer quoted £115 including everything plus 2 vcds changes for free ( want to enable anti hijack and get doors to all open on 1 press of the key). Dealer is near my parents so making a day of it with my son.

Will report under the dealers section after the service.

Hope this helps

I know I got a quote for 180 from John Clark Aberdeen were I got my car from and then I called dundee John Clark they done it for 108. Also dropped me off in town which was kind of them would not go to Aberdeen one again. There is a Aberdeen meet tomorrow at 12ish if you fancy coming along a few of us from here are going it at markro.

Gutted I didn't read this earlier! I would have definitely came (even though my VRS is MINGING! with dirt at the moment)

John Clark have been nothing but crap for me to be honest. They're not getting my custom again.

Keep me in the loop regarding meets up here, I'd be keen to come say hello!
