I have just ordered the Blaupunkt DAB 54 and in dash cd changer to put in my Fabia vRS. I have the facia adaptor and the nice man at bluespot.co.uk said the 6mm gap had to go between the two units. I just wondered if anyone else has fitted this set-up and can enlighten me as to whether this is correct? I have also ordered the extra input lead so that I can play my Sony NW-HD3 mp3 player through the head unit

Any help appreciated.

not fitted it but think you can get a vw part that sits between the headunit and cd player and just slots in
