Hi folks, are there any seasoned Volvo tuning gurus on here? I'm hatching a plan involving a 2.0 Volvo T4 engine that I have here and just wondered what sort of power they can make with the standard turbo? I guess that they can be chipped by all the usual suspects out there?

I'm going to keep the project under wraps for now, need to finish the 20v felicia before I start another project but it will be interesting nevertheless, it's not a vag group car or a Volvo......

As long as you can keep boost temps down then there good for plenty of power,

I had the 2.0 low pressure turbo one with a T4 turbo (14T) on it and it made good power until i fried the engine, have a friend at work with a phase one T4, the 1.8 version and hes seen the top end of the speedo a couple of times,

The volvo turbo lumps seem to have plenty of torque so getting power down to floor is a problem especially if you plan to run it through the front wheels
