hi i was unsure what to put the topic tittle. the thing is my car is going in for a service when i get back and i was wondering if they will be able to put any updats from the ecu on the car and also i was thinking of having the car bleep when i lock and unlock it if possible would this cost alot. is there anything else that can be unlocked on the car features. all help would be great thanks

they'll only put any updates on that the car needs, theres no actual 'must have' up-dates that ive read about, its all down to whether your experiencing any issues

one thing i had done to mine was the single button opening for all four doors instead of the two presses but theres loads you can have done but dont know if/what they'll charge you, no skoda drivers up ur way with the little gizmo to connect up and make changes?

Vcds , there is quite a bit of hidden stuff

Have you got the doors set to lock automatically above 10 mph (...?). Mine wasn't when I collected it but on a return visit to the dealer I asked for this to be done.

I got this done when last at my dealers...

This was one thing i didn't take into account...so now when i unlock all doors it sounds like an R2D2 as you have to press the button twice which gives 4 bleeps...

I will change it on my next service to bleep on locking, then one button all doors, NO bleep on unlocking...sigh
