Hey peeps the Monte is due it's first service in the next 500mls what normally gets done on this service do we know??

Fluid changes? Just a check up?

Just an oil change and an a4 sheet full of ticks.

make sure they use 507.00 oil. Is it not on variable?

Variable ? It's going into a skoda garage so I guess that's the oil they will use. I'm gonna try and get it for nowt as I've only had the car 4 months (it's an ex demo) and would expect to have a cost free first year like any other used car I buy as most dealers give the car a service before you get it.

Just got my Monte back. 1st 10k done and cost £120 while I waited.

I gave the garage a phone and they said they would do the first service for £50 supposed that a better than them not offering anything. I just kicked up a wee stink at how my other cars normally get a service before I collect and I'm free from servicing for the first year.

The salesman was a gent sorted it all out for me.
