CD changer reliability

Has anyone experienced reliability problems with the Symphony 6-disc CD changer? Mine comes up with error messages "mechanic", refuses to recognise some discs in the cartridge, and if you remove the cartridge it takes up to a dozen attempts before it loads properly.

I've had the car (Octy vRS) since December, and there have been no problems at all apart from this. The changer is being replaced under warranty on Saturday, but I'm concerned about future reliability.

Panoramic sunroof rust

Hi everyone! I have an urgent rust problem near the panoramic roof seal. So far, there's no leak. I plan to take the car to a body shop shortly, where the rust will be sanded off and the entire roof will be repainted. The seal will, of course, be replaced with a new, original one. The body shop told me that the repair might not be effective, meaning the problem might recur after some time due to moisture, which could be getting under the seal's mounting due to a design flaw. Has anyone else had

Hi, yesterday morning I drove up to Stafford from Exmoor no issues whatsoever, however this morning driving back with my elderly mum on board we broke down at Bridgwater, as I was driving up the off slip the engine appeared to flutter slightly for a couple of seconds then all seemed fine, I assumed it was possibly the road surface, however got about 1 mile off the motorway and the EPC light came on and also the engine light and it was popping and spluttering so I rolled off the road and switched

I known, old stuff, but... ADAC Motorwelt 08/1995 has published a crash-test of the cute Fela (as nicknamed in Pl;)) and I'm in a serious need of the disturbing details about the rear seat belt issues they found... Does anybody have the text?! English translations available on the Web only mention the problem w/o explaining. Was it solved in the facelifted model? History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift.
