hello. my car has suddenly started to think its permanently in reverse. i get the 1 long beep from my faulty reversing sensors when ever i turn on the ignition and the reversing lights are permanently on. took the bulbs out and noticed rust all down the gap in the plastic on the front of the bulb carriage on drivers side. have MOT on tuesday... typical! any ideas anyone?

Reversing lights are not required under construction and use regulations and are therefore not tested in the MOT. Just remove them.

thanks for the reply rotodiesel but my cars a taxi and it will fail its MOT without them.
