18" Audi RS6 reps

Featured Replies

Due to needing a new bathroom, I’ve got to sell some stuff. I had hoped that these might not have to go, but B&Q don’t give things away for free, so I’m selling my RS6 reps.

I got them late last year and only took them off for the snow last week as I love them so much & didn’t want to ruin them.

They are 8J, ET 35(I think), have BF Goodrich G Force Profiler tyres on (225, 40 18). Two of the tyres have just under 5mm and two have just under 6mm.

They aren’t much heavier than the Spiders and weigh less than the 16” steels I’ve got on at the moment. They have been sprayed at some point in the past by someone who did a good job. They have a metallic face, metallic grey inserts and black insides. They have a few marks here and there and some people might want to refurb them to be perfect. I just put them on and enjoyed them. They look better than the photos suggest as they don’t manage to capture the finish very well.

I bought some bolts for them, but used the OEM locking bolts and was going to get some lockers in the spring. This means they’ll come with 16 tapered bolts and would just need some locking bolts if you weren’t happy to use the originals.

I live in Scarborough, so pick up may not suit everybody. All in, including the bolts I paid £320 for these as the tyres have so much life in them. I need to sell them seeing as the bathroom currently is in need of rebuilding. I reckon that £280 is a fair price. Let me know what you think.

Regards,

Andrew.

Have you got any pics of these on your car on a side view? Thanks.

Not on my car,no. Here's one pinched from the forum though, it convinced me that the RS6 reps were the way to go.

They wouldn't fit on your Superb though, the stud pattern is different.

Wounder! I thought all in the VAG range had the same stud pattern just different offsets, cheers for the reply tho!

That's a great price there mate

Should have no problem.

I'd have had them if I'd not just brought new tyres for mine!

That's the plan, price them to sell. I need a new bathroom, so there's no point in asking too much as they'll just sit there for six months - that's a long time for the Mrs to be getting wound up about the state of the house.

Edit : I looked at the wheels today and they are made in Italy, not China. I guess that's a good thing as most people don't want Chinese ebay specials.

If collection is an issue, then this company did a cracking job of collecting and delivering.

They arrived via a CityLink van, so they must have a deal with them I guess. Anyway, if anyone's interested, I'm open to sensible offers.

hi there nice wheels any idea if these would go straight on a fabia vrs ???? how much p+p to kendal ??? cheers

They would fit a Fabia, the Octavia and the Fabia have interchangeable wheels. People fit Octavia wheels to the Fabia all the time. The only thing is the tyres won't be the right profile. Mind you, the tyres are worth a bit anyway. I saw a similar set sell on ebay a couple of weeks ago for £160 for the 4, I considered buying them myself until I realsied how much I needed to sort out a family bathroom.

As for postage, I would be willing to let them go for £280 inc postage.

Evening. I didn't get the pm, but either try again or post on here. I'll check in tomorrow after work.

Hi. Please could you tell me the dimensions and weight per wheel/tyre.

I'm on the other side of the country so collection is a bit awkward. I'm looking at how much a courier would cost ( through a friends business account)

Many thanks,

Vinny

Oh and my mate mark said he won't charge you for use of his pic! Ha ha!

Afternoon Vinny. I've no idea about the weight really as the Mrs won't have any bathroom scales in the house. :giggle:

As for the dimensions, they are about 63cm across and 25cm deep. The ebay courier charged £29.99 and that was from northern Scotland to Scarborough, about 250 miles as the crow flies if that's any help.

If the red vRS with the RS6 alloys is your mates, his car is one reason I decided that they were the wheel for me!

Hi, did you get the second pm? Was awaiting reply. none ... i`ll keep looking on ebay for some

Yep, just sorted out my pms. I've replied and left a message on your mobile. Hope you get it,
