just quick question as title states, will a grill from an FL octy fit my pre FL? iv looked at a few pics and they look the same but i could be wrong?

I think they look loads better and i dont have to worry about breaking any clips off when i take mine off (i was going to paint it) makes life a little easier

Yes I think they do but the lower edge is profiled differently so won't fit flush with your pre-FL bumper...

Ah yeah i see what you mean, iv just got two clear pictures up and the bottom has a curve to it and mine is rather straight, might look abit odd if it sticks out

Its that curve though of the grille on a flat top pre FL bumper making it odd looking.Unless you can use the inner grille part and adapt it into the pre FL surround?

You don't need to worry at all about breaking any clips when removing an Octavia grill.

All you need to do is put a 7mm socket over the rear of the clips, and gently push. The sides of the clips are all compressed equally, and release without breaking.
