Air Intakes 2006 Octy Vrs

Featured Replies

Looking to start off small with a new air intake. What is recommended. Are the likes of carbonio intakes really worth the 200quid or are you as well going for a uprated panel filter and bigger intake hose? I know every one has a different opinion but its always good to see what people use before i buy.

The carbonio arent worth buying. I had an aftermarket intake and it was very noisy to live with. I have switched back to the OE engine cover with a K&N panel filter and it works fine.  Some other users have done the same and are running stage 2+/3 and getting good figures. On a K03 you will lose about 10bhp top end without an intake but thats not going to make any difference on the road.  Unless your hunting for figures Id just stick with the engine cover and panel filter.  My car drives so much better now than it did with the intake fitted.
