Since having the car the boost comes in very strong but all the way through the rev range it comes on and off under constant open throttle. I think that this could be the plastic recirc valve !!!

Could it be this or anything else ??? It's not boost spiking thanks again and any help would be of use !!!

Is the car standard or remapped?

Have you got a code scanner or VAG-Com?

The car has a cc tuning remap and I have not scanned the ecu yet.

I thought that it could be the recirc valve !!! ( a weak spring )

one of two things the DV or boost surging due to the map....as normal the car does it due to the MAF thinking too much air is going in the cutting it back then letting it again but its not that noticeable but the map tends to exaggerate this,
