Convenience type gremlins

Featured Replies

A bit of an odd one this.

I have a number of gremlins in the electronics of my September 2010 Superb Estate.

The cornering fog lights are intermittent (I know the 'rules' under which they operate).

The central locking hesitates when opening, the fuel flap unlocks and the doors follow suit a few seconds later resulting in a pull on a locked door handle sometimes.

Also, the convenience menu in the maxidot disappears at random and the leaving home/coming home lights have a mind of their own, as do the automatic lights.

When I hooked up my (genuine) VCDS lead and ran a scan I could not access or even 'see' the Cent. Elect. or Cent. Convenience controllers at all.

Whats the crack there? I am a bit stumped as to what it could be really.

Any clues? anyone? The dealers say there are no problems which is even more frustrating.
