Lee I use the BG244 in my diesel, I've put it in the tdi and when out of warranty will put in the crtdi, is there a difference or placebo? Well I usually get around 450 miles in the tdi tank but after BG244 520 miles , 70 miles more so I reckon £10 saved on the first fuel up and winter diesel so hopefully will get even better soon, most marques now do a treatment during service

I'd say just use higher octane fuel (V-Power etc) that have more adatives in it already

If you use 95 ron and the additive it'll cost the same as a tank of super unleaded so its a no brainer.

Well where i live i can only get 95 so looks like im gonna start adding additive now. Been eyeing up the lucas additive gonna give it a shot after payday :)

I remember Aldon Octane Booster being touted as something that could take pump fuels over 100 RON but seeing as these are freely available as 99 RON (Shell V-Power and Tesco Momentum 99) it seems a bit unecessary, especially as they have detergents included.
