RA2 saved me.....

.....from driving too fast this weekend & aquiring some unwanted attention (maybe)

I took my brother out for a run in the car this weekend, around some quiet roads in NW Kent, which I had never driven before. I was driving somewhat faster than I possibly should have been, as there were virtually no cars around.

The Road Angel came into it's own when I approached at least 3 cunningly-located forward facing Truvelo (sp?) cameras which I would never have seen without it. All 3 were located around sweeping bends in 40/50-limit roads, which would have snapped me had I not known they were coming.

I quite possibly wouldn't have noticed them at all (even after passing them), as they were on the opposite side of the road.

The RA2 has definitely done it's job as promoting safer driving in providing an early-warning system for blackspots.

I did get 3 laser alerts during the course of the evening, when there were apparently no cars/vans nearby to have 'zapped' me. Not sure if they were false alerts or not.....
