WMC2012 - new mobiles coming

Featured Replies

Is anyone else following GSMA World Mobile Congress 2012 in Barcelona?

Not started yet, but HTC have a big press event at 8pm today.

OOOOO, more details please gadgetman

HTC... after the problems with HTC sync, the speakers and ring not behaving and various other issues, I'd never touch one again.

Cheap and fine when working, but useless support when they are not.

HTC One's launched - http://www.htc.com/www/smartphones/

HTC specs dont tally with press releases though which say the XL is 32GB and quad core. Nice to see LTE & NFC on board!

Which phone was that?

Desire and a wildfire S

Desire and a wildfire S

Not had issues with my Desire or SWMBOs wildfire.

But then don't use HTC sync.

So today Nokia's turn with they're 41 mega pixel phone. Interestingly running symbian.

How many cameras out there are 41mp?

I love the HTC one X!

Nice specs, but no SD slot is a bit killer for many. Also as far as I can tell, no Gorilla glass.

Oh and no removable battery either

One of the best points about an android phone is swapping batteries and being able to expand the memory using an sd card even better now the cost of cards is going down. Gorilla glass is another big mistake. Sounds like due to the cost of a quad core HTC have cut back on other stuff thinking people won't realise what's missing

Ohh Symbian... nice.

I have to be honest and can see my next phone being a symbian feature phone rather than an anything smart phone.
