Guys, had Weitec coilovers fitted by AmD Essex last month. Since being fitted the above codes show up on my scanner (ABS). Looking on Ross-Tech wiki they relate to the ABS wheel speed sensor(s) on both rear right and rear left.

Now before i go hunting for the cause & fix, can this fault be thrown up by lowering the car on the coilovers?

Possibly, they might have unplugged the wiring to the sensors when they were doing the work. The rear beam would have had to come down a little to get the new dampers and springs on so they might have disconnected the wiring for that and forgotten to reconnect it. I'd be surprised if it's not something to do with the fitting as both sensors have gone at the same time.

They did my Weitecs back in 2010 no problems although did take a while doing them... I get the impression these days though they do so many of them on Mk4 platform cars they rush the job.

Cheers Chicken, thought it may be possible the physical lowering of the car threw up some codes, but i'll check the wiring out. Neil.
