i need help with something that has become a bit confusing to me. (i know this has been covered a few times but i cant get my head round it)

i'm looking to upgrade / replace my FRONT REAR bushes and i have read on here that there are quite a few available.

the POWERFLEX ones are easy to find - ebay search brings up results of 47.10 or around that price, but feedback on here says they are really stiff?

what i'm stuck with is where or how to find the other available parts that people swear by so i can do a comparison on price and performance etc.

can you guys tell me where to find the cupra bushes and also any others that may be recommended - is it the ibiza or leon bushes i'm after?

i dont mind you talking to me like i'm 4 years old cause i would find that alot easier to be honest.

part number, price, stockist etc would be extremely useful.

They're mk 4 (6L) Ibiza cupra console bushes, aka front wishbone rear bushes. These are solid and also very firm! Pop into your local seat dealer and ask I think I paid £17 for a pair.

Or...there was a revised bush released less prone to failing, this is slightly more forgiving than the solid ones, ask any vw (polo 9n/ 9n3) or skoda dealer!

Here is Fabdavrav's guide to bushes with everything you need to know. I did this job on mine at Christmas. I ended up going with the Superpro bushes as I changed the complete set.

I can say that the ride has stiffedned up but its well within acceptable limits and doesnt send shudders up your spine.

The real test was the wife who hasnt mentioned anything so the ride must be ok.

thanks for the help there guys. ive noticed someone on here with the cupra ones for sale at 20 notes so i might take them off his hands...
